Cedar Wax Wings

It was a pleasant surprise to see these cedar wax wings mingling with the sparrows at my feeder this week. I always enjoy these little masked bandits.

  1. I am feeling serious envy. I love waxwings but we rarely see them.

    1. I really enjoy them. We see them in the early spring and in the fall during migration. I don’t usually have them at my feeder so this was a nice treat.

      1. We need a severe winter in Scandinavia if we are to see them here.
