Even though we’re just about at the end of our hummingbird season, there are still some around stocking up for their long trip down south. I will enjoy them as long as I can.

  1. Gorgeous shots!!! Wow!!! We had a Hummingbird caught in our garage the other day who we rescued. Hubby shot many frames but his lens is a kit lens and he really did not achieve the angle to best see this beautiful bird. I’ve never been so close to a Hummingbird. It was an incredible experience. ❤

    1. Thanks, Amy Rose. They are such beautiful little creatures. I’m glad you were able to rescue the hummingbird. I worry about them this time of year when it starts to get so cold. But I guess they know what to do and will get out of town before its too late. I suspect I won’t be seeing too many in another week or so. Our nights are getting pretty chilly.

      1. I saw Hummers the day afte this incident and now no. I think they have left this area because it is really getting chilly, especially at night. They know exactly what they are doing. They did leave late this year and another bird I normally do not see here at this time of year are Robins. They usually leave towards the end of August if not before. I am still seeing them here. I scratch my head and ask, “HUH”?

  2. Right on the button, Maralee.

  3. Wonderful images of a Beautiful subject..

I'd love to hear from you
